In my second betting tip for the day, I left the most interesting (in my opinion) match for the 31st of January – Denis Shapovalov versus Alexander Bublik. We all know what showman Bublik is, but can he play seriously against a player whose first win came yesterday after more than 180 days?
Denis Shapovalov vs Alexander Bublik Betting Preview
Denis Shapovalov was one of the most promising players in Canada after Milos Raonic. But then, something happened, and he started suffering different injuries. Now, 2-3 years after his greatest successes, he is trying to return to the professional tour, but let’s see how he will accomplish that. He is still young, just 24 years old, but if the injuries are serious, he might never reach his previous ranking (world number 10).
Alexander Bublik is a very serious opponent, but he is not serious on the court all the time. Even a few weeks in Australia, he took a slice of chips from a fan while playing an ATP match. This guy is crazy, but in the good meaning of the word. Despite his strong and very powerful services, he has an astonishing backhand and superb forehand. To be honest, footwork, athletism and shots are great, the only problem is in his head. And sometimes, the fact he no longer wants to play cost him the matches.

Betting Tip – Denis Shapovalov vs Alexander Bublik
On a good day, I would go for Bublik, but I am not quite sure that he will have one of these days when he will play with passion, trying to win every point. This is why I prefer to go for a more solid market – over games. Both players have amazing services, and on hard indoors, this is a factor. If I am correct, with a line of 22-23 games, we can easily see this line passed. If you are a risky player, why not go after a tie-break in the match?
