In my first betting tip for the tournament in Acapulco, Mexico, from the ATP 500 series, I decided to write a preview for one of the best players in the tour and one young American who is currently playing decent tennis. The match I was attracted to predict is between Aleksandar Kovacevic and Holger Rune.
Aleksandar Kovacevic vs Holger Rune Betting Preview
I have known Aleksandar Kovacevic for a few years, but it seems that he is playing his best tennis now. He used to play in some major and bigger ATP events in the past seasons, but now, he has had significant results. I remember that even last year in the Mexican tournaments, he achieved some solid results, which makes me think that he is feeling very well in this country. What you need to know about Kovacevic is that he is a strong server, and he has a one-handed backhand. His forehand is the better weapon, but this is normal as he is a product of the US academy.
I do not think I need to present Holger Rune, who is one of the best players at the moment. He is a great talent, and he even reached the top 10 of the world. Unfortunately, he is in a bad time, where he is constantly changing his coaches, trying to find the better one for him. Without his team and all the time changes, I think that Rune is not playing his best tennis, and even in this match, we will see him as a not-so-stable player.

Betting Tip – Aleksandar Kovacevic vs Holger Rune
Usually, I avoid betting on such odds, especially when playing Asian Handicap, but I have checked all the scenarios here, and I think +4.5 Games AH is safer than +3.5 Games AH, where the odds used to be better. Aleksandar Kovacevic is in great shape, and I do not think that he will lose the match easily. However, he played a long last week in Los Cabos and now he played in the qualifications here in Acapulco. Also, he played only three-setters, and probably, his powers might be significantly reduced. This is why I decided to go for the 4.5-game line, where even with one break in each set, he can be victorious. I am almost 100% sure that he will serve first, because usually, this is what he is picking in his matches. So, easily we can see a result like 7-5 or 6-4, which will be totally fine for us.
Betting Tip: Aleksandar Kovacevic +4.5 Games AH
