The Cleveland Cavaliers showed muscles in the opening two matches of the series against the Orlando Magic. They now head to Florida to prove their worth and shit down all those suggesting they are only a home team. Meanwhile, the Magic have nothing to wait for. Orlando needs to give its best shot now.
Cleveland Cavaliers News
The Cavs were routine in both meetings against the Magic. Their defense was at the highest possible level, and that’s probably the difference between them and their current rival. They allowed 86 and 83 points, respectively, and that’s impressive, particularly in the playoffs.
Donovan Mitchell is the top scorer with 26.5 points, but the guy who is the pivotal piece of Cleveland’s game is Jarrett Allen who averages 16 points and incredible 19 rebounds over the previous two events. Max Strus’ contribution in defense is excellent, too, with him posting nine boards per game in the series.
Orlando Magic News
Orlando’s form in the last few weeks wasn’t at the highest possible level, and we saw them struggle in the final games of the regular season. That trend continued in the playoffs. The Cavs’ big guys have completely frozen Paolo Banchero, who, even though they scored 22.5 points per game, had just five boards and managed to commit 15 turnovers in these two events.
The backcourt players also failed to contribute as expected. Jalen Suggs has 11 points per game, Gary Harris 7, while Cole Anthony plays just 14 minutes per game and averages two buckets. Joe Ingles is invisible, and Markelle Fultz is even worse.
Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Orlando Magic Game 3 Betting Tips
In our opinion, the Cavs are huge favorites to win this meeting as well. They have a much stronger defense, and even the home-court edge won’t help the Magic avoid another loss.
