Born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., Snoop is a California artist who burst onto the musical scene with his 1993 album – Doggystyle, which received quadruple platinum certification. It was released by the notorious label Death Row Records and features top ten singles Gin and Juice and What’s My Name. Over the years, and especially in the early 2000s, Snoop expanded into TV and movies. He was the host of his sketch comedy show on MTV named Doggy Fizzle Televizzle while starring and co-starring in many Hollywood movies like Boones, directed by Ernest R. Dickerson.

In March 2023, Roobet put a surprise press release stating they had signed Snoop Dog to a partnership contract through the brand’s parent company – Raw Entertainment. In the release, Snoop got quoted as saying that the partnership feels natural because he feels the Roobet team is doing something different in the world of online entertainment, and that is something he has been doing for years via his live stream. Hence, he noted that both parties clicked on their love to do novel things. Matt Duea, Roobet’s co-founder, added that Snoop’s a real visionary, and with him at their side, the future of digital entertainment is super bright for this crypto casino and sportsbook.

Snoop now bears the title of Roobet’s Chief Ganjaroo Officer, and he has two games featuring him pop up on this platform. Roobet, in the past, has also worked with Mexican ex-Flyweight champ Brandon Moreno, bantamweight contender Chito Vera, and current light heavy-weight title-holder – Alex Pereira. Moreno even had a Champions Corner Podcast financed by Roobet, who also organized two other MMA-related shows, Diego Limaќs Champions Corner Podcast and Jason House’s – On The House. The last episode of Champions Corner Podcast got published in December 2023, and we should note that this is mainly a Spanish-speaking show.

Like with Moreno and Periera, Roobet’s official YouTube channel has several fight week blogs that detail Charles Olivera getting ready for his UFC contests, and it seems like this athlete and Roobet are in it for the long haul, as they still seem to have a fruitful relationship, after two years of working together.

The UFC

We mentioned in our Stake sponsorship article that that hub is in bed with the UFC and has been working with the Ultimate Fighting Championship since around 2001. Well, Roobet’s social casino arm – Roobet.Fun, too began to collaborate with the UFC in the summer of 2023. Thus, from that point, Roobet.Fun’s branding has been presented on select UFC Pay-Per-Views and Fight Nights. On top of this, this social gambling brand has been a featured partner in UFC’s YouTube show Embedded, which also gets presented across the UFC’s other platforms.
