The UFC light heavyweight title is at stake at the UFC 307, with Alex Pereira and Khalil Rountree clashing at Salt Lake City, Utah, tonight. The Poatan is the favorite, but that doesn’t mean anything against Rountree, who is 5-1 as an underdog.

Alex Pereira News
Pereira is a force to be reckoned with in the UFC, boasting an impressive 11-2 record. He won the last four bouts, three for the belt, and all three via KO. His victims were Jiri Prochazka twice and then Jamahal Hill, each encountering a spectacle power of the Poatan.
There isn’t much more to be said about Pereira – his punches are a combo of unreal power and incredible disguise. KOs against Prochazka and Hill are a testimony to that.
Khalil Rountree News
On the other hand, Khalil Rountree is a true Muay Thai maestro. He made headlines when he demolished former Glory champion Gokhan Saki six years ago with a first-round knockout.
Fast-forward to the present, “The War Horse” has 13 wins, five losses, and one no-contest. He’s currently on a five-fight winning spree, knocking out four of his opponents.
UFC 307: Alex Pereira vs. Khalil Rountree Betting Tip
The Poatan is experienced in situations like this one, and even though Rountree has a massive motive, we have to pick the champion to keep his belt. Why? First of all, he has a longer reach than Rountree, and in a stand-up battle, that’s a big deal. Second, we saw Pereira in championship rounds, while Rountree never went there. His cardio was never properly tested, and with all due respect, the rivals he met were far from what Poatan encountered in the UFC.
So yes, we pick Pereira to win. Those who want higher profits can take Poatan via KO.
