Minnesota Timberwolves are in California for the opening of the NBA season. After Los Angeles, they now visit Sacramento to meet the Kings at the Golden 1 Center.
Minnesota Timberwolves News
The Timberwolves have lost their opener to the Lakers 110-103, and they want a quick bounce back now. They are still in California, only in Sacramento, where they meet the Kings.
Anthony Davis ruled under the rim, exposing Rudy Gobert and other big guys in Minnesota. The LAL scored 72 points from the paint. But even that wasn’t as problematic as the fact that this crew posted 16 turnovers. In the end, Anthony Edwards’ 27 points didn’t mean a thing.
Sacramento Kings News
This will be the Kings’ first game of the new NBA season. However, what we saw in the preseason doesn’t promise too much. They had all five losses, and even though all took place against very good teams (Warriors twice, Jazz, Clippers, and the Trail Blazers), this is a sign that things aren’t good in Sacramento.
DeMar DeRozan landed and is expected to help with his experience, though he is 35 years old. Also, apart from having Domantas Sabonis, this unit didn’t sign any decent replacement for the Lithuanian All-Star.
Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Sacramento Kings Head-to-Head
In all three games last year the visiting side ended up winning. Two contests were in Minneapolis and one in Sacramento and each time the guests were better.
Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Sacramento Kings Betting Tips
The T-Wolves have played a terrible game against the Lakers, and the chances of seeing that twice in a row are low. Particularly now, with the Kings being the rivals, as they performed awfully during the preseason. It’s why we picked the Timberwolves to post their first victory of the new NBA campaign.
