Every Thursday Night Football is a delight for the fans, and we haven’t any doubt that this one will be as well. AFC North teams square off, with the Cleveland Browns hosting the leaders, Pittsburgh Steelers.
Pittsburgh Steelers News
AFC North leaders are playing good football, mostly due to their defense, though Russell Wilson and the offense are starting to wake up. The last two victories have been close calls, but they were earned against tough opponents. After narrowly defeating the Washington Commanders 28-27 in D.C., they edged out the Baltimore Ravens 18-16 at home in an AFC North rivalry.
We’ve mentioned that the Steelers’ defense is making a huge impact. They’ve forced 11 more turnovers than they’ve committed, ranking second in the NFL in that category. Even though TJ Watt and Minkah Fitzpatrick lead the way, there aren’t standout players here, as the entire unit does its job flawlessly.
Cleveland Browns News
This is yet another brutal and disappointing season for the Cleveland Browns. It’s hard to blame them, considering the tough situation the franchise is facing. Star running back Nick Chubb is still recovering from injury, and he was projected to be the leader of this team.
Quarterback Jameis Winston is doing his best to move the ball, with a strong arm that can launch it downfield, but he needs more support. In a 35-14 loss to the Saints, Winston threw for 395 yards and two touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the team’s struggles.
Steelers vs. Browns Head-to-Head
The Steelers lead the all-time series 81-63-1. During the 2023 NFL season, we saw both teams winning one event, and defending the home field.
Steelers vs. Browns Betting Tip
Pittsburgh’s defense will overwhelm Jameis Winston and his offensive line, keeping the Steelers on top in this matchup. That’s why we bet on their win.
