The 49ers were routine against Aaron Rodgers and the Jets, winning the Monday Night Football 32-19. Brock Purdy threw for 231 yards no TDs or picks. Kicker Jake Moody was in the zone, hitting six field goals, the longest one 51 yards.

Sam Darnold replaced the injured JJ McCarthy, leading his team to a 28-6 win in New York against the Giants. The Vikes looked good, and so did Darnold, who posted 208 passing yards, made two touchdown tosses and had one pick. All in all, it was good against the mediocre Giants.
Aaron Jones, a former division rival while playing for the Packers and now the starting RB in Minnesota, rushed for 94 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries. Justin Jefferson caught four passes for 59 yards and one score.
