Game 3 of the series between the OKC Thunder and the Dallas Mavericks is on tonight. The series moved to Texas, at the American Airlines Center, where Mavs have a pretty rough support from the stands.
OKC Thunder News
The Thunder’s defensive performance in Game 2 was lackluster, allowing the Mavs to take control of the game without any resistance. In the end, it was 119-110, which is a big difference compared to Game 1, where OKC allowed just 95 points. What happened with the Thunder, we can’t tell, but they sure looked bad.
Shai led the Thunder with an impressive performance, scoring 33 points and grabbing 12 rebounds, along with dishing out eight assists. Jalen Williams also had a solid game, contributing 20 points. However, the rest of the team struggled to make an impact. Chet Holmgren was limited to 11 buckets, without any notable part.
Dallas Mavericks News
Luka Doncic shined for the Mavs, finishing with 29 points, ten rebounds, and 7 assists, including hitting five three-pointers. Forward PJ Washington was a surprise performer for Dallas, scoring 29 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. The bench also played a key role, with Tim Hardaway Jr coming off the bench to score 17 points.
The Mavericks caught their rhythm early on, playing a versatile offense, hitting plenty of threes (18-for-37), and often having incredibly fast transitions. Kyrie Irving needs to be credited for that because he played 41 minutes, having nine points but 11 assists, two steals, and two blocks. He was really focused on the team, not the individual stats.
OCK Thunder vs. Dallas Mavericks Game 3 Betting Tips
The Thunder will be tested heavily over the next two events. This is the first time they have encountered such pressure and a situation, while the Mavericks have gotten used to playing in a stressful environment over the past few years. That’s why we pick the home team to triumph here.
