Manchester United is in terrible shape, and it’s no wonder why Porto hopes to win at home against the English rivals. With Erik Ten Hag’s position hanging in the air, the question is, what’s the morale in United’s locker room?
Porto News
The Dragons won six of the past seven events in Primeira Liga, and are looking quite solid these days. We have to say that the loss in the Europa League opener to Bodo on the road, 3-2, was a kick in the teeth, but Porto played well even in that event, it just couldn’t score. After all, they had 28 shots toward the goal, but only two found themselves in the net.
When playing at Dragao, the hosts are very confident, netting 11 goals and allowing just one. This has always been one of the most ferocious home fields in Europe.

Manchester United News
As for United, we don’t have too many kind words. They lost to Tottenham at home last weekend, 0-3, and we need to say that the red card received in the first half didn’t affect the overall result too much. United has been terrible all season long.
We don’t understand the board’s support for Ten Hag because, obviously, the Dutch manager lost control of the team. It’s that simple that he simply isn’t good enough for United.
Porto vs. Manchester United Head to Head
The last time these two units played was in the 2009 UEFA Champions League knockout stage, and United came out on top. After 2-2 at Trafford, they won 0-1 on the road.
Porto vs. Manchester United Betting Tip
Even though many believe that this might be the perfect chance for Porto to win, we won’t bet on the host’s triumph here. Both teams netting is a better option because we expect to see Porto attack right away. United may be terrible, but it still has one hell of a counterattack. On the other hand, Porto has the quality to hit at least once. Therefore, we’re sticking to both teams’ netting.
Betting Tip: Both teams to score
