In the last quarter-final for the Men’s Australian Open, we will see the match between two of the most solid players on the tour – Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz. Both have a history in the ATP circuit, and I am more than sure that we will see a fantastic match between two athletes who will give everything on the court.
Alexander Zverev vs Carlos Alcaraz Betting Preview
I will try to be short here because I know that you all know something about both players, who are currently two of the greatest in the sport. Zverev started the year with a fascinating performance in the United Cup, but then his form dropped a lot, and we saw that in the games he had against Lukas Klein and Cameron Norrie. In both matches, he had to play a 10-point tie-break in the fifth set, which cost him a lot of power.
Carlito did not have any problems in reaching the quarters here in Australia, after easy wins against Gasquet, Shang, Kecmanovic and Sonego (who was the only player taking a set from the Spaniard). It seems that Alcaraz did a great preparation for the upcoming season and he is 100% ready to attack another Grand Slam final and eventually win it.

Betting Tip – Alexander Zverev vs Carlos Alcaraz
Initially, I was about to go for a clear win for Alcaraz, but then I saw the odds, and I found absolutely no value. Betting on 1.20 for the money line for the Spanish is silly and then I check the games line. What attracted me was the lowest possible line of 32.5 games, which can easily happen even with 3 straight sets. Definitely, Alcaraz is now a better player than Zverev, whose form dropped after the United Cup but this does not mean that the German will not play in this game at all. Sascha is also capable of getting a set, which will indeed make this tip correct. Still, I took the surest bet possible, predicting over even if they play just 3 sets in total.
Betting Tip: Over 32.5 Games
Betting Odds: 1.54
